Shipping Our Hand Made Chocolates
Our ground shipping charge is $9.00 for orders up to 1 pound. The shipping charges increase by $1.00 for each additional 1 lb. increment.
Chocolate is tricky to ship because it melts easily. We want you to be happy with your order and we guarantee that your chocolates arrive fresh and not melted. Depending on the weather and the shipping distance from Stowe, VT it may be necessary to ship via UPS 2nd Day Air. The shipping of your order via 2nd Day Air will result in a significant increase in the standard shipping charge. The first pound shipped via 2nd Day Air will cost $27.50, and each additional pound ordered will result in a $2.00 increase in shipping cost. By completing the checkout process, you agree to accept the higher shipping fee if we feel it necessary to ensure the fresh arrival of your chocolates. If you'd like confirmation of shipping costs before the order is processed, please indicate this in the comment form on the checkout page.
We ship via UPS or USPS and we guarantee what we ship. Because chocolate is so temperature sensitive we ship Express Mail or 2nd Day Air with an ice pack to warmer locations or to locations outside a 2 day zone in the summer. The reason for this is that our gel ice packs only last for 48 hours and so it is important that we get your package to you as soon as possible.Published shipping prices are for addresses withing the 48 contiguous states. Alaska & Hawaii, as well as international shipping is available and will be quoted on a case by case basis.
We also recommend shipping your packages Monday through Wednesday to avoid having them sit in a warehouse over the weekend. We can recommend an ideal day for shipping your package based on the destination address. Please ask us.
NOTE: Our shopping cart calculates shipping based on our UPS ground shipping rates.
